The Highland league 22/23 season gets underway on Saturday 23rd July. Banks O' Dee, who are the current champions of the SJFA North Superleague, start their campaign at their new level with a home match against Nairn County.
League Champions Fraserborough (who lost to Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic) open with a home game against Deveronvale.
Runner's up Buckie Thistle, who ran Fraserborough so close to the title, play Wick Academy at home who ended their amazing unbeaten run in the second from last game in 21/22.
The Jags last defeat in the league was on Saturday 2nd October when that lost 3-2 at Brechin City. They then won an incredible 23 league games before the 1-1 draw with Wick Academy. They are still unbeaten in 25 league games!
