FINAL
DORKING WANDERERS (2nd) v EBBSFLEET UNITED (3rd)
The final of the South play-off will either see Dorking Wanderers join non-league's top table for the first time in their history or Ebbsfleet United return to Step One for the first time since the 2019/20 season. Since re-joining the then Football Conference (they had a spell in the then Alliance Premier League from 1979 to 1982) in 02/03 as Gravesend & Northfleet the Kent club have relegated three times (09/10, 12/13 and 19/20) and been promoted twice in 10/11 and 16/17 both via the play-offs.
When The Fleet were rubbing shoulders with Doncaster Rovers, Morecambe and Stevenage Borough in the Conference in 2002 The Wanderers were playing in the West Sussex League Division Two! They were only formed in 1999 initially playing in the Crawley and District League. Their league history is as follows which confirms the club's story is truly amazing and if they are promoted to The National League next weekend it will be one of the best achievements ever in football.

In the North Division it's two former football league sides with new grounds who can return to Step One. York City haven't played at that level since 2015/16 with The Pilgrims last playing at that level in 01/02 when they were Champions. The Lincolnshire side moved up to the Football League from 2002 to 2007 when they were relegated down to the North Division due to financial problems.
The LNER Community Stadium is likely to be at capacity of 8,500 for this game.
In the league games Boston United won 2-1 at home to York City in October and 0-1 at the LNER Stadium in March.
In the betting The Minstermen are rated at 6/5 with The Pilgrims at 15/8 and a draw after 90 minutes rated at 12/5. (Source - bet365.com)
Brackley Town's defeat means they were promoted to Step Two as Southern League Premier Division champions in 2012 they have qualified for the play-offs in 2013 (lost to FC Halifax Town in the final), 2018 (lost to Harrogate Town in the final), 2019 (lost to Spennymoor Town at SF stage) and 2022 (lost to York City at SF stage) - Let's hope it's fifth time lucky for The Saints next season!
