THE BOTTOM FOUR FIFA RANKING TEAMS - WILL THEY WIN IN THEIR NEXT FEW GAMES?

FIFA RANKED - 208
US VIRGIN ISLANDS
LAST WIN - 8th September 2019 - Saint Martin - W 2-1

Since the beginning of 2019 The Dashing Eagle have won two games in twelve played. Their victories came against Anguilla (3-0) and non-FIFA ranked Saint Martin (2-1) in the 19/20 CONCACAF Nations League.

Their next four fixtures come in the 20/21 CONCACAF Nations League where they are in the C Division which is the lowest ranked of the competition. They face non FIFA ranked Sint Maarten, Turks & Caicos Islands (Ranked 206) and Bonaire who are another non-ranked FIFA team.

Friday 3rd June - Sint Maarten
Monday 6th June - TURKS & CAICOS ISLANDS
Saturday 11th June - BONAIRE
Tuesday 14th June - Bonaire
FIFA RANKED - 209
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
Last win - 7th July 2012 - Anguilla W 1-0

It's been five games since The Nature Boyz scored a goal and over a decade since their last victory in a friendly game against Anguilla. There will be a familiar name to many football fans in England as former Arsenal, Ipswich Town and QPR player Chris Kiwomya has been head coach since October 2021. Their last game was a friendly against Anguilla which actually took place at Bisham Abbey, Berkshire as both teams were in England on training camps.

Featuring in the game were many British based players - Jerry Wilshire (Walton Casuals), Jamie Wilson (Bournemouth Poppies), Luka Chalwell (Christchurch), T'Sharne Gallimore (Chesham United) and five players who are attached to Poole Town - William Butler, Miguel Marshall, Charles Medway, Jake Forbes and Tyler Forbes.

They are also in CONCACAF Nations League action with two games against Cayman Islands (195) and a difficult trip to Puerto Rico (172).

Friday 3rd June - CAYMAN ISLANDS
Monday 6th June - Cayman Islands
Sunday 12th Juen - Puerto Rico

FIFA RANKED - 210
ANGUILLA
LAST WIN - 13th February 2022 - Saint Martin W 1-2

Anguilla were coached from 2020 to May 2022 by another name many fans from English football will know - Former Trinidad & Tobago, Birmingham City, Coventry City and Nottingham Forest forward Stern John recently left to coach St Lucia (176) so I'm unsure who is in charge at this time of writing.

They have played two friendly games this year with the above mentioned game against BVI and a 1-2 win away to Saint Martin.

They also feature a number of British based players with Lewis Francis (Stanway Rovers), Conrad Joseph (Singh Sabha Slough), Jerrell Gumbs (Holyport) and Kieron Lake-Bryan (Aldershot Town u23s) featuring in the recent BVI game. Calvin Morgan (Chalvey Sports) and Luke Paris (Windsor) have also recently played for Anguilla.

Stern John and Anguilla will be reacquainted soon when they face each other on Sunday 12th June. They also play twice against Dominica who are FIFA ranked 184.

Thursday 2nd June - DOMINICA
Sunday 5th June - Dominica
Sunday 12th June - St Lucia

FIFA RANKED - 210
SAN MARINO
Last win - 28th April 2004 - Liechtenstein - W 1-0

I've written about San Marino on THE COLD END before and how they have only won one game in their history and have never won a competitive fixture. Overall they have played 173 games with 1 one, 6 draws and 166 defeats with 26 goals scored and 729 conceded.

Their last positive results came in the UEFA Nations League of 20/21 in 0-0 draws in Liechtenstein and at home to Gibraltar.

Fabrizio Costantini was appointed as head coach in November after their 0-10 defeat to England and then end of their World Cup 2022 Qualifying campaign. Costantini moves up from the San Marino u21 team he had coached for four years.

His first two games in charge ended in defeat to Lithuania (1-2) and Cape Verde (0-2) - They have two UEFA Nations League games against Malta (169) and one against Estonia (110) as well as a home friendly against Iceland (63).

Thursday 2nd June - Estonia
Sunday 5th June - MALTA
Thursday 9th June - ICELAND (Friendly)
Sunday 12th June - Malta
