BELSTONE CAPTAIN EYITUOYO AKINBULUMO and GOALKEEPER CONNOR FREEMAN CELEBRATE YESTERDAY - THEY HAVE BEEN WITH BELSTONE SINCE THEY WERE TWELVE YEARS OLD AND ARE NOW LEAGUE CHAMPIONS!
Belstone ended their Herts Senior County League season yesterday with a 3-0 win over Wingate & Finchley Development and they were presented with the league championship shield after the game. They finished four points ahead of St Albans City Reserves and lost just three in twenty-eight league games played. An amazing season - Congratulations to all involved. (Photo - @belstone_fc)
Hertford Heath are champions of Division One finishing five points ahead of Oracle Components and Hinton in third place. Heath's win and with promotion means they will play in the Premier Division for 22/23 - they last played in the top division in the 2014/15 season.
Lemsford are Division Two champions who beat runner's up Baldock Town Reserves on a dramatic final day of the season. See the report and highlights here
In Division Four it's free scoring Bushey Rangers who are champions - They scored an amazing 117 goals in just 24 league games including 10-2, 12-2 and 12-0 victories! Hinton Development are runner's up who also scored a huge amount of goals in 107 in 23 games. (Photo from @Bushey_Rangers)
In the Cup Competitions we saw Royston Town Reserves beat Colney Heath Reserves 4-1 in The Aubery Cup Final, Hatfield Athletic win 4-0 against Bedmond United in The Bingham-Cox Final and Lemsford win 5-0 versus Broxbourne Badgers in The Greg Cup Final.
