There are some huge games coming up in The Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division over the next few weeks. The big game on Saturday is at Donkey Lane and with Arsenal and Spurs not in action a decent crowd is expected for the 2nd v 3rd Enfield Town v Bishops Stortford. Back in November The Blues won 2-1 with their goals scored by Jake Cass (penalty) and Johnville Renee getting the winning in the 96th minute! Some added spice to an already eagerly anticipated game is that Cass now plays for Enfield Town and has scored 5 goals in 7 league games for the North London side since leaving Bishop's Stortford. You could call this game the EL CASSICO!!
Town have won six and drawn one of their last seven league games with their vistors having only one defeat, which came at Hornchurch, in their last twenty-one league games.
Hornchuch v Folkestone Invicta is 6th v 5th - A home win would see the in form Urchins move above the Kent side. Invicta had to wait until injury time on Tuesday evening to rescue a point with a very late goal to make it 2-2 at home to Bowers & Pitsea.
At the bottom of the table there is 9 point gap between Leatherhead (21st) and Bowers & Pitsea (19th) - Both of the bottom two are at home and need to get points on the board so I would say they are must win games. The Tanners host Bognor Regis Town (11th) and East Thurrock United welcome Margate (8th) who need points to get back towards the play-off zone after two defeats and a draw in their last six league games.
Cheshunt have their Buildbase FA Trophy Fifth Round game where they make the long trip North to play Stockport County who are top of the Vanarama National League. The Ambers have beaten Corinthian-Casuals, Berkhamstead, Chelmsford City, Bishop's Stortford and St Albans City to get this stage. Since their victory over St Albans they have lost at home in the league to Bowers & Pitsea and Horsham as well as on the road to Carshalton Athletic. They got back to winning ways last weekend with a narrow 1-0 home win over Leatherhead.
