Walthamstow and Stansted are the only teams left without a defeat with The Stow winning all six of their games played. The Airportmen have played all six games away from home with their only dropped points coming in the recent game against Sawbridgeworth Town which ended 1-1. It was Sawbo's first point of the season!

Sporting Bengal United who have parted company with manager Imrul Gazi are bottom of the table with no points at the moment. Gazi had been in charge at the Mile End based club for the past five seasons. United have shipped 29 goals in their seven games played so far including heavy defeats to Woodford Town, Walthamstow and Redbridge in their last three games.

Athletic Newham are performing the best of the three promoted clubs with a very respectable four wins, one draw and only one defeat from their six games played.

Timothy Ogunride of Redbridge leads the goal-scoring charts in the league with 8 goals scored in 7 apperances closely followed by Richard Kone of Athletic Newham on 7 goals from 5. The Stow's former Cheshunt striker Jason Hallett is currently on 5 goals from 4 games played. Ogunride played for Grays Athletic in the 19/20 season in the Isthmian League Division One (North) having also played for Tilbury, Waltham Abbey and Thurrock. Kone had a trial with League Two side Colchester United in the summer playing in a number of pre-season friendly game for The U's. There were also reports he was having a trial with an unknown Premier League club. If he continues scoring goals for Athletic I can see him moving up into league football very soon.

Woodford Town have been getting some great crowds to their new Ashton Playing Fields. 822 saw the opening game against Stansted followed by 358 against West Essex, 359 v Saffron Walden Town and 224 against Sporting Bengal United.

White Ensign have gained a large number of new fans on social media over the past few days after their local rivals from their Essex Olympian League days Catholic United had Celtic fans follow them after their former youth player Cameron Carter-Vickers moved on loan from Tottenham Hotspur to Celtic Park. The connection between the two clubs goes back to formation of the club when Celtic gifted them kits to wear.

White Ensign have seized upon the opportunity by linking with Rangers fans and have even announced they will be releasing a limited edition kit the club will wear for away and cup games.  Ensign's crowds have been up and down this season with 210 v Stansted, 102 v Walthamstow, 39 v Woodford Town and 92 v Southend Manor. I'm sure there maybe a few more at Burroughs Park (they currently groundshare at Great Wakering Rovers) for this weekend's game against Saffron Walden Town.
