The race for the title in the Vanarama National League is looking like it's going right down to the wire with Sutton United currently rated at 2/5 favourites and Torquay United at 2/1 with bet365.com. However if The U's trip up against Maidenhead United tomorrow and Stockport County win against The Gulls on Sunday we could see Simon Rusk's team come back into contention?
At the beginning of the season I'm sure Barnet fans would of loved to hear The Bees would be involved in the title race going into the final two games of the season - they are of course, but not in the circumstances their fans would want in playing Sutton United and Torquay United. The Bees are rock bottom of the table with Dover Athletic withdrawing from playing earlier in the season.
So will it be Matt Gray's Sutton United or Gary Johnson's Torquay United who move up to the football league for the 2021/22 season or will it be one of the Northern teams who crash the party - Stockport County and Hartlepool United are both within an outside chance?
