To rank Sunderland as a big club alongside Nottingham Forest and Derby County caused a little bit of stir on social media when discussing this article but the fact they have won the top division six times and the FA Cup twice along with their huge support puts them firmly in this category I think. Their eighth place finish in League Two last season was their lowest ever position since joining the football league!

Based on history and league performance The Jam Tarts are one of the biggest clubs (outside of Rangers and Celtic) in Scotland. Since 1990 they have finished runners' up twice and in third place eight times regularly playing in European Competition. After football ended early in the 2019/20 season they were relegated to the second tier on a PPG basis for the 2020/21 - they are looking good this season being top of the table and look set to return to the Premiership for the 2021/22 campaign. The Citizens have a rich history in both non-league football in England and the Welsh game along with European competition. From 2016 under the ownership of Vaughan Sports Management the club suffered from major financial problems - Despite finishing in second place in 2017/18 they were relegated to second tier as the club failed to obtain the necessary licence required. They finished in 4th place in the Cymru Alliance and were 5th in the new Cymru North last season.

In April 2019 the Supporter's Association of the club voted overwhelmingly to create a breakaway club CPD BANGOR 1876 who currently play at step four of the Welsh League pyramid.
