As you can read their are a number of games in non-league's top division off due covid issues this weekend. Torquay United lead the division now by 11 points from Hartlepool United. The Gulls have had a great Christmas period winning 6-1 versus Yeovil Town on Boxing Day and 3-4 at Weymouth on Monday which was 3-3 in the 87th minute when Connor Lemonheigh-Evans scored the all important winner. There is certainly much football to be played but the Devon side are now rated at evens for the title with skybet.com - Could they return to the football league they left at the end of the 2013/14 season.
Barnet, in the relegation zone, have a huge local derby game against Boreham Wood. which is live on BT Sport at 5.20pm - It's Tim Flower's first game in charge of The Bees so could they have some 'new manager bounce' in their performance perhaps?. Their Hertfordshire rivals travel to The Hive in great form with three league wins in row at Hartlepool United and Notts County along with a home win over Aldershot Town. They have their FA Cup Third Round tie against Championship side Millwall to look forward to on Saturday 9th January.
