PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYERS SHOW RESPECT FOR NON-LEAGUE FOOTBALL

It's great to see some Premier League players tweeting about their Emirate's FA Cup games with non-league opposition over the weekend -

Spanish defender Sergio Reguilón said after Tottenham Hotspur's game with Marine "It was a great experience for us as well. Football is way more than just fancy stadiums"

It was also fantastic to see West Ham United's Michail Antonio saying "Without Non-league football I wouldn’t be where I am today and playing out there tonight reminded me that wherever and whoever you play, it all centres around a love for the game. Respect to Stockport County, showed passion, fight and desire"

Antonio was born in Wandsworth and started his career in the Isthmian League with Tooting and Mitcham United in 2008 - He had played in the junior teams for The Terrors from under 12 level - before moving to Reading. He went back to Tooting on loan as well as Chelthenham Town, Southampton, Colchester United and Sheffield Wednesday before joining The Owls full time in 2012. He then joined Nottingham Forest in 2014 and moved on to West Ham United for a reported fee of £7,000,000. He has since played 164 times for The Hammers and scored 41 goals.

I love the Sergio Reguilón's quote - It's great to see elite players showing the respect non-league football fully deserves.
