THE RAVENS ARE READY TO FLY FOR THE 2020/21 SEASON

The Isle of Man has a population of approximately 83,000 and has never had a football team compete in the English football pyramid. All that will change from the 2020/21 season as FC ISLE OF MAN joining the North West Counties League Division One (South). The Ravens, as they will be nicknamed, will hope to follow in the footsteps of both Guernsey and Jersey Bulls who have recently joined the football pyramid.

The club's intentions was first muted in August 2019 when they confirmed they wanted to enter a team into the pyramid and in February 2020 Chris Bass was confirmed as the club's first manager. He was boss of ST GEORGES who have dominated the Isle of Man Football League Premier Division in recent years winning the title ten times in the last twelve seasons prior to 2019/20.

The new club will play home fixtures at THE BOWL which is located in Douglas and holds around 3,000 people at capacity - The stadium has played host to pop concerts from Meatloaf, Toyah Wilcox and Status Quo in the past!

As with Guernsey and Jersey Bulls they will pay the visiting clubs travel expenses. Flights from Liverpool John Lennon Airport take around 40 minutes with around 5 minutes added from Manchester Airport.
