WILL THE 61 FC (LUTON) OR GIRTON UNITED GET A WIN BEFORE THE END OF THE SEASON?

The 61 FC (Luton) have played eighteen league games along with a Division Two Cup, Challenge Trophy, Anagram Records Trophy and Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy game so far this season without a win. The nearest they have come was the 2-2 draw at Unite MK in the D2 Cup which they lost 3-1 on penalty kicks and a 2-2 draw in the league at Sarratt in their second game of the season.

It was Saturday 22nd December 2018 when they last won a game which was a 4-1 victory over Clean Slate FC in the Spartan South Midlands League Division Two.

So it's 33 games now without a win for the Luton based side. Could they get a win in their forthcoming fixtures?

The 61 FC (Luton) play their home fixtures at the Kingsway Recreation Ground in the Town.

FORTHCOMING FIXTURES

Saturday 7th March - Berkhamsted Raiders
Saturday 14th March - NEW BRADWELL ST PETER
Saturday 21st March - Unite MK
Saturday 28th March - Buckingham United
Saturday 4th April - SARRATT

In the Cambridgeshire County League Kershaw Senior B Division Girton United are without a win since Saturday 14th October 2017!  That was a 3-2 victory over Cottenham United with Christian Mansfield (2) and Dan Pattern scoring the goals in a Senior A Division game.

This season the club, formed in 1907, has struggled to get a team out at times with a number of walkovers given to opponents. They need so some support and help so why not pop along to one of the their games?

Girton United play their home game at Girton Recreation Ground which is North West to the City of Cambridge close to Histon.
