Hashtag United won a very important game at the weekend with a narrow 0-1 victory at Takeley thanks to a goal from substitute Josh Osude in front of a decent crowd of 235 people at Station Road. The Tags lost their opening game of the season to Southend Manor but have since won nine league games in a row.
Saffron Walden Town won 2-0 at home to Cockfosters in front of another good attendance of 175 with West Essex drawing 0-0 at home to St Margaretsbury. Walthamstow are the only side left unbeaten in the league - they won their East London derby 2-1 at home to Redbridge yesterday.
