We continue our look at football in the North with the Northern Football Alliance with the Premier Division sitting at Step Seven of the football pyramid following by the First Division (Step Eight) and Second Division (Step Nine).
The Premier Division contains a famous name of non-league's past in NEWCASTLE BLUE STAR who famously won the FA Vase in 1978 and at the end of the 08/09 season won promotion to the Northern Premier League Premier Division before off the field troubles saw the club wound up in the summer of 2009.
The club were re-formed in 2018 and currently play at the Scotswood Sports Cenre in the West End of the City. The clubhouse was opened in October 2018 and is named after Sir Bobby Robson. They finished in third place in the Premier Division last season so expect them to see them fighting for the title this campaign.
