FA SUNDAY CUP UPDATE

The FA Sunday Cup is down to the Fourth Round stage aside from two games to be played in the third round this Sunday. One see's Broadwater of the Worthing and Horsham District Sunday League visit Lambeth All Stars who currently play in the Metropolitan Sunday League Pon Pope Premier Division. 

Broadwater are on a eight game winning run in league and cup games scoring 40 and letting in 12 goals. Lambeth have lost two games this season to AFC Brixton 2-4 in the league's Bartholomew Cup and Anorthosis in the London FA Sunday Challenge Cup. Anorthosis currently top the very strong Kopa League Division One. 

The game was scheduled to be played in London but with two postponements due to the weather it will now be played at Littlehampton Town. 

Nyron Nosworthy , now aged 38,  has played for Lambeth All Stars this season. He is remembered for his time as a Professional with Gillingham, Sunderland, Sheffield United, Watford, Bristol City, Portsmouth, Blackpool and Dagenham Redbridge as well as making 14 International appearances for Jamacia. He played 114 games for Sunderland from 2005 to 2012 and was a fan's favourite at The Stadium of Light where he won the 06/07 player of the season. Their fans also had a great chant for him to the tune of 'Rehab' by Amy Winehouse -"they tried to get the ball past Nyron but he said no no no".
