BUILDBASE FA TROPHY QUARTER-FINAL LINE-UP

The replays for the FA Trophy Third Round were played out last night with some eye-catching results including Spennymoor Town's 2-5 victory at East Thurrock United, Bromley's 7-1 victory at home to Workington and Stockport County coming back from 0-2 down at home to Maidenhead United to win 3-2 after extra time. The Hatters scored their first two goals in the last eight minutes to force the game into extra time. 

Saturday 24 February 
Stockport County v Brackley Town 
A clash of the two Vanarama North play-off contenders. In the league game played on Saturday 2nd December Brackley Town ran out 3-2 winners at home. 

Billericay Town v Wealdstone
A huge game as the big spending Bostik Premier title favourites take on The Stones who are currently twelth in the Vanarama South. The Middlesex side are bound to take what will probably be the largest away following to The AGP Arena this season so far.   

Leyton Orient v Gateshead
The O's (35 pts from 31 games played) and Gateshead (40pts from 30 games played) are still not safe from the relegation zone in the Vanarama National Division but both sets of fans may now well be dreaming of a Wembley appearance in the Trophy final.  

Bromley v Spennymoor Town 
The Vanarama National play-off contender's Bromley take on the Vanarama North play-off contenders. Spennymoor Town have made a rapid rise through the pyramid since winning The Northern League (Step 5) in 2014. Their fans will have memories of their FA Vase win at Wembley Stadium in 2013 when they won 2-1 agianst Tunbridge Wells. 

Both Billericay Town (Vase winner's in 76,77 and 79) along with Spennymoor Town could be the first club to win both competitions. Forest Green Rovers (Vase winners in 84 and Trophy runner's up in 99 and 01) and North Ferriby United (Vase runner's up in 97 and Trophy winners in 15) are the teams who have come close to this record.
