THE HITCHIN SUNDAY LEAGUE RETURNS FOR 2017/18 - PIG AND WHISTLE v WEST FC

The Hitchin Sunday League kicked off for 2017/18 this morning with games in all three divisions taking place. The below pictures are from the 'Pig & Whistle' v 'West FC' Premier Division game which took place at Aston Recreation Ground. West won 1-2 with all the goals coming the second half - P&W's goal came in the 89th minute when they were 2-0 down. They had ten men for the opening minutes of the game as one of their players was late and were down to ten men from 30mins to 40mins as another one of their players was sin binned by the referee for dissent.
