BOSTIK PREMIER WEEKEND FIXTURES

PREMIER DIVISION
Billericay Town v Leatherhead
Brightlingsea Regent v Enfield Town
Dorking Wanderers v Dulwich Hamlet
Folkestone Invicta v Staines Town
Harlow Town v Tonbridge Angels
Harrow Borough v Merstham
Kingstonian v Lowestoft Town
Leiston v Thurrock
Metropolitan Police v Hendon
Tooting & Mitcham United v Needham Market
Wingate & Finchley v Burgess Hill Town
Worthing v Margate

After losing their opening game to Kingstonian the big spending title favourites Billericay Town have won their next five league and cup games 2-1, 3-1, 6-1, 5-0 and 5-0 with former Brighton & HA, Shrewsbury Town, Northampton Town and Luton Town striker/winger Jake Robinson scoring seven goals closely followed by Adam Cunnington on six goals. The Blues are now 1/5 with the bookmakers to win the title - Will they be knocked off the top spot for the rest of the season? Every other club are now rated at 20/1 or higher!

They could be on Saturday as they face second placed (only by GD to the Essex Club) Leatherhead at The AGP Arena. The Tanners have been in great form too with a decent 6-0 victory over Cray Valley Paper Mills in the FA Cup on Saturday and only one defeat to Harrow Borough in their six league and cup games played. They have a strikers in form as well - Chike Kandi scored a number of goals in pre-season and has followed that up with six so far with Jack Midson on five. Both are at the opposite end of their careers - Kandi is only 21 years of age having spent time with the Birmingham City, Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion and Brighton & HA academies he joined from Vanarama National League side Woking over the summer. Midson is 33 years of age and is probably best known for his time with AFC Wimbledon between 2011 to 2014 where he scored 37 times in 139 appearances. It's got the making of a very exciting game and could be a high scoring one dare I say?

Harrow Borough are in third place and will look to get back on track after a disappointing week losing 6-0 at Hendon on Bank Holiday Monday and then losing at Enfield Town in the FA Cup. They face Merstham who also lost in the FA Cup against fellow Bostik Premier side Tooting and Mitcham United at the weekend.

At the foot of the table Worthing have lost all five of their league games played so far and lost to Dorking Wanderers in the FA Cup. They are hoping to resolve the problems with their pitch at Woodside Road but will definitely play their game against Margate on Saturday at Bognor Regis Town's Nyewood Lane.

So far this season the biggest victory is 6-0 which came in two games - Staines Town beat Tooting and Mitcham United and the aforementioned Hendon v Harrow Borough game. The highest scoring game is the 4-4 draw between Enfield Town and Metropolitan Police - Will there be another game that produces 8 or more goals?

The highest crowd has come at Champion Hill in the Bank Holiday Monday South London derby game against Tooting and Mitcham United which 1,866 saw. The lowest was just 96 who watched the Metropolitan Police v Merstham.

Will the attendance at Billericay Town v Leatherhead top the 1,866 - So far The Blues have had crowds of 1141, 1110 and 1159.
