2017/18 PROGRAMME REVIEW NUMBER ONE - PETERBOROUGH NORTHERN STAR v DEEPING RANGERS

This programme is definitely one of my favourites from the last couple of years as it's has a brilliant retro look on the outside and loads of the usual original content inside. It's 28 glossy pages throughout with just 5 dedicated to adverts - In recent times some non-league clubs are finding it hard to produce programmes so I think Northern Star need to be congratulated for being innovative and adding something different to make it more collectable and desirable.

Peterborough Northern Star's usual programme is also brilliant so if you are near to the area when they are playing at home i recommend a visit to The Branch Bros Stadium.

There next home game comes on Tuesday against Eynesbury Rovers and then on Saturday 16th September agianst Northampton Sileby Rangers.

  1. Thanks for the kind words. Bernhard Hugh was a superb artist who produced some work during WW1 and submitted it to the Imperial War Museum. He also illustrated the cover of Chelsea's match programme, The Chelsea FC Chronicle, for a good number of years.

  2. They have copied the cover of the 1921 FA cup final programme so not quite original !!!

    1. It's intended as a tribute to the original artist, as it says on the cover. Hugh is something of a neglected gem.

  3. A little bit harsh... they've worked hard on the programme and it's really impressive
