HATFIELD TOWN AND THE JAMIE McVEIGH FOUNDATION

Hatfield Town and Hatfield Town Reserves will proudly wear the logo of The Jamie McVeigh Foundation on their shirts for the forthcoming season.

The Foundation is named after Jamie McVeigh (who was well known and loved playing football in the Hertfordshire town) whose life sadly and tragically came to a sudden end on Wednesday 19th March 2014 in circumstances which are still quite unclear.  Jamie's family and friends have set up a foundation in his name so that no other family has to go through what they have gone through.

The aim of the foundation is to break down the barriers in young men so they know its OK not to be OK. The foundation also aims to support young boys and girls from less fortunate backgrounds by increasing their life opportunities through financial support to join football clubs and teams.
