It was goals, goals and more goals in the MACRON Welwyn Hatfield Sunday League at the weekend with an average of 6.75 per game. Hatfield Cricket Club will have been pleased with their 4-0 victory over Mosquito as it was their first win of the season having lost their opening three games 8-0, 10-2 and 4-1. Mosquito have played three and lost three - they go again at the weekend against The Cock in a league fixture.
In the Herts FA Sunday Senior Cup two out of the three sides got through with only The Grove losing at NBOB who are a very strong team currently top of the Herts Advertiser Sunday Football League Premier Division.
