The 2016/17 MACRON Welwyn Hatfield Sunday League season kicked off yesterday with Bradmore Rovers the big winners on the day thrashing Hatfield Cricket Club 8-0. Shamrock Rovers won 2-1 against Shamrock Rovers Reserves with the other winners being The Rosey and Welwyn Campus.

There are five league games next weekend along with Shamrock Rovers Reserves welcoming Cheshunt Town of the East Herts Corinthian League Division Three who won their first league game 3-6 at Harts Horns yesterday. Hatfield Cricket Club will be looking to put the 0-8 defeat behind them in their game versus Fairway Tavern who play their first game of the season having finished third last season.
