HERTS SENIOR COUNTY LEAGUE 2016/17 OPENING FIXTURES

The Herts Senior County League kicked off it's 2016/17 season yesterday with the traditional Charity Cup game played between the last season's Premier Division winners and Aubery Cup winner's. The game went the way of the cup winner's Belstone who ran out 1-6 winners through goals from Darren Butler, Jason Puzey and Darren Turner who scored a hat-trick. The league's final constitution has been confirmed as the following with a total of thirty-four teams involved in the Premier and Division One along with sixteen in the Reserve and Development division. The opening few weeks fixtures are below as well with some midweek early kick off games to visit - most kick off at 6.30pm unless stated but always check with clubs first. 

There is a chance for local football fans to see the new 'Stevenage Community FC' team with some Thursday evening football at the King George V playing fields in the town on Thursday 25th August and Thursday 1st September
