Ryman Premier Division Leiston have made a quick appointment in promoting Glenn Driver to first team manager at Victory Road. He will be assisted by Tony Kinsella as Head Coach - the pair have been in charge of the Leiston Reserve side for the past 12 months who play in the Thurlow Nunn League Division One. They had finished bottom in 2014/15 and made a dramatic improvement to finish sixth last term.
The Suffolk side have signed prolifc goalscorer Matt Blake from Norwich United where he scored 119 goals in his three season stay with the now Ryman Division One (North) side. The Planters who back-to-back titles and were promoted at the end of last seasoon. Blake now moves up two levels on the non-league ladder - I'm sure he'll be on score sheet next season for Leiston.
