As it stands in the Ryman Division One (North) it's AFC Sudbury who are so nearly over the line in the race for the title. If Thurrock (at home to Cray Wanderers) and Harlow Town (at Bury Town) both drop points on Tuesday evening the Suffolk side will be crowned champions. If this isn't the case a win at Tilbury next Saturday will see the Trophy making the trip back from Chadfields - A draw could be good enough depending on Thurrock's result in midweek and on Saturday.
Thurrock, Harlow Town and Cray Wanderers are not quite guaranteed a play-off place but they look good for one with the race for fifth place now between the below four clubs. Cray's 0-1 victory at Cheshunt yesterday looks a very important result in the race for the play-offs.
