WADHAM VICTORIOUS IN THE EL CLASISTOW

It was billed as the 'El Clasistow' by some on social media as E17 based Waltham Forest and Wadham Lodge faced each other in a Essex Senior League local derby on Saturday afternoon. 

Even the Wadham's match poster had an E17 nod to it featuring the iconic and much missed Walthamstow Dog Stadium. A crowd of thirty-two people saw away side Wadham Lodge record a memorable 1-3 victory - It was former Waltham Forest boss Tony Ievoli (now in charge of Wadham) who was celebrating at the end of the game - TheColdEnd spoke to him when he was manager of Greenhouse Sports back in 2013 - You can read that interview here  

Wadham's next game is at home to Enfield 1893 FC on Wednesday evening with The Stag's next game away to Eton Manor on the same evening as they look to climb off the bottom of the Essex Senior League table.
