Premier League Norwich City will send a full strength side to Top Field on Tuesday 14th July as Hitchin Town's 150 YEAR'S CELEBRATION GAME.
The game is just part of many commemorative events
celebrating ‘150 Years of Association Football in the Hertfordshire Town. The original Hitchin FC were formed in November 1865 and played in the very first FA Cup competition in 1871. Aside from a period between 1911 and 1928 the football club has played an important role in the local community.
A one off kit in the original club's colours of magenta and white halves has been specially commissioned for the match and will be auctioned. For more information about the club's celebrations and the game please visit Hitchin Town's website here
Just two days later on Thursday 16th July they welcome local League Two side Luton Town in their annual pre-season friendly game which is another game which will attract a big crowd to Top Field.
