Looking at the current top five in the Middlesex County Football League Premier Division it seems the current top three are the main title contenders. Fifth placed Sporting Hackney, last season's champions, have a chance but will probably need to win at least eight of their last nine games and even that wouldn't guarantee anything. LPOSSA have only lost three of their twenty-three league games so far with Interwood losing two of twenty-two and Hillingdon suffering five defeats in their games played. This coming Wednesday 15th April there is a really important game scheduled with LPOSSA playing Interwood - prior to this the table toppers travel East to play Sporting Hackney. On Saturday 9th May the two title rivals play again followed by LPOSSA playing Hillingdon which is the week likely when the championship is decided.
