Basement Battle
Ely City v Diss Town
Saturday 11th October 2014
Unwin Sports Ground
From step 1 to step 6 on the non-league ladder there are now seven teams on NIL points in their league records. Next Saturday will see at least one (or possibly two) get some points or a point on the board as Ely City and Diss Town face off in a basement battle in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division.

Seaford Town took a break from league action yesterday when they welcomed Fisher FC to the South Coast in the FA Vase 2nd Qualifying Round. It was the same old story for The Badgers though as the Southern Counties East League side ran out 0-4 winners. Their league results so far read 0-2, 0-1, 0-1, 0-6, 0-4, 2-4, 0-2 and 0-3. They have also lost to Eastbourne Town in the Peter Bentley Challenge Cup. Their next league game comes away at Steyning Town next Saturday afternoon.
