FA SUNDAY CUP FIRST ROUND

The FA Sunday Cup First Round takes place on Sunday 19th October 2014 with numerous Sunday teams up and down the country dreaming of some cup glory. Here is a selection of the fixtures featuring teams from and near to Cold End country. The first tie which stands out is an all Orc Sports Waltham Football League Premier Division tie between Flamstead End and Upshire at Cheshunt FC.

St Joesph's (Luton) who won the competition in 1995 and 1996 and were runners up in 1998, 1999 and 2006 start their 2014/15 campaign off with a home tie against Club Lewsey who play in the same North Home Counties Sunday League Premier Division. This division is well represented in the national competition as Green Man, Celtic SC (Luton), Brache Nation, FC Houghton are all in action too as well as Division One side The 61 FC (Sunday).

Comet Sports Sunday League's Nirankari's tie with KOPA League side New Salamis should be good too - the venue is as yet unconfirmed but as Nirankari are based in the Hitchin/Stevenage area I would say it will probably take place at Top Field.
