MITCHELL COLE TOURNAMENT AT ARLESEY TOWN NEXT SATURDAY

Former Stevenage Borough midfielder Mitchell Cole will be remembered next Saturday 10th May at Arlesey Town as the Stevenage Supporter's Association Football Club host the Mitchell Cole Tournament for a second season all in aid of the Cardiomyopathy Association for which Cole was an ambassador for and helped to raise awareness of prior to his death in December 2012.

The day will begin at around 10am and is scheduled to finish at 4pm. Supporters’ teams from Barnet, Cambridge, AFC Wimbledon, London Carlisle and a Cole XI will compete for the Mitchell Cole Memorial Trophy.
Everyone is welcome to attend and support what is a fantastic cause. There will be a raffle on the day as well to raise more money for the CMA with football-related prizes from Stevenage FC players and more.

Mitchell was well known and much loved in the local football world having played for Arlesey Town, Hitchin Town, Biggleswade Town and Stotfold amongst others. It looks set to be a great occasion where his life and football career will be remembered and celebrated by his friends and fans alike. A mention must go to Arlesey Town who have offered the use of their stadium for free to raise awareness and funds for the CMA.
