ENFIELD TOWN - THE SEASON SO FAR - A COMPARISON

SEASON P W D L GF GA GD PTS GSPG GCPG C/S FTS
2012/13 11 3 2 6 16  23 -7 11   1.45  2.09
2013/14 11 3 3 5 16 23 -7 12  1.45  2.09 0 3

A comparison of Enfield Town's Ryman Premier League record over the first eleven games of the past two seasons shows they are very similar indeed. Town are a point better off than the 12/13 campaign which is good but what will be giving Steve Newing and the players a headache is the goal's conceded figure which is the same as last season at 23 for the current campaign. The games over the coming months are very important for the side so all Town fans must get behind the side and hope, with some hard graft and maybe a bit of luck here and there, we can pick up a few wins especially away from home!

The away travel doesn't get any easier though as in October the Town travel to Bognor (currently 8th and won their last four home games), Lewes (6th and unbeaten) and Maidstone United (4th and undefeated at home). The next three home games against Billericay Town (12th), Wingate and Finchley (21st) and Harrow Borough (15th) could be crucial.
