TOP TWO CLASH AT GOLDSDOWN ROAD TOMORROW

It's a real top of the table clash tomorrow afternoon at Goldsdown Road as second placed Enfield 1893 FC face current table topper's Great Wakering Rovers. Both sides have 100% winning records in the league so one (or two if it's a draw) of these records has to go in tomorrow's hotly anticipated match. Rovers warmed up for the game with a 6-3 home victory on Wednesday night in the Essex Senior Cup against local rival's Southend Manor. Gary Patterson scored five of the goals against his old club.

1893's last game was also against Southend Manor (Saturday 14th September) where they won 1-4 through goals from Harry Prince, John Bricknell and Robbie Evans along with an own goal. New manager Luke Giddings has certainly made a good start at Goldsdown Road after moving over from Eton Manor in the summer.
