Enfield Town's first pre-season friendly is less than two weeks away when a team representing FA Premier League side Aston Villa visit The Queen Elizabeth Stadium. Since our move to the new Stadium in 2011 the Town have an impressive unbeaten record versus teams from the top division of the English game. We have beaten Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 in the stadium opening game and drew with Norwich City 2-2 last summer. Admittedly both sides sent by Spurs and The Canaries were that of development/youth team but it's still a decent record in my book.
The only other time Town have faced a Premier League side was in the summer 2006 friendly v Spurs which was lost 1-7 at Goldsdown Road in front of 502 people.
With the Villa game coming up TheColdEnd thought it would be a good idea to see 'Where are they now?' for the two Spurs sides and the Norwich side from last season. Have we witnessed a star in the making?
