THURLOW NUNN LEAGUE RELEASE PREMIER DIVISION FIXTURES

The Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League Premier Division fixtures have been released to clubs and the following fixtures are scheduled for the opening day of the season on Saturday 10th August 2013 -

Brantham Athletic v Newmarket Town
Brightlingsea Regent v Felixstowe and Walton United
Diss Town v Mildenhall Town
Godmanchester Rovers v Walsham-Le-Willows
Gorleston v Ely City
Hadleigh United v Woodbridge Town
Kirkley and Pakefield v FC Clacton
Norwich United v CRC
Stanway Rovers v Thetford Town
Wivenhoe Town v Haverhill Rovers

The two sides promoted from Division One were Newmarket Town and Brightlingsea Regent. The Jockeys face a tricky trip to Brantham Athletic (4th in the Premier last season) and Regent host Felixstowe (14th). Godmanchester Rovers, who were originally moved to the United Counties League but successfully appealed, host Walsham-Le-Willows.

There are two clubs "missing" from the line-up being Wisbech Town (2nd last season) who have moved across the United Counties League and Cambridge University Press (Division One champions) who resigned from the league at the end of last season. CUP, who were ground sharing at Histon, have moved down to the Kershaw Cambridgeshire Premier Division and back to their home ground at The Cass Centre.

The league's Division One fixtures are unable to be issued until the Ryman League fixtures are released as AFC Sudbury Res, Needham Market Res and Team Bury are all members so their potential home fixtures will clash with the Ryman ones.
