The Cold End saw Hertfordshire Senior County League Division One champions Whitwell AFC win 1-4 at AFC Hatfield Town a few weeks back and brought you the news that they had one more league game left against Old Parmiterians at home which if they won would see them go through the whole season with an incredible 100% winning record.
Saturday 5th May saw this game take place with the away side having a record of just five wins in twenty-five going into the game.
Surely it would be just a case of how many goals Whitwell would get???
So, the cold end sends a big congratulations out to Old Parmiterians who recorded a 0-1 win to dent the home side's winning run right at the last minute!!
