MIDDLESEX CHARITY CUP - UPDATE

Those who braved the ice cold freezing conditions on Tuesday night at North Greenford United were rewarded with a good 2-4 win by Enfield Town courtesy of a hat-trick by Daniel Ailey and a late goal from Walid Matata.

The victory moves Town in the Quarter Finals of the Help for Heroes Senior Charity Cup and a trip to EvoStik Southern League Division One (Central) side Ashford Town. They beat Wealdstone in the Second Round way back in September with the winner's facing Hellenic Division One (East) side Rayners Lane in the semi-final. Lane have already booked their place in the last four as they beat Hanworth Villa on penalty kicks on Tuesday night following a 0-0 draw.
