# DENOTES BOTTOM OF THE FORM TABLE
Needham Market's 4-0 home win against Ware on Tuesday night has put the Suffolk side top of the table by one point. Second placed Grays Athletic are only one point behind with one game in hand. The top five is completed with Leiston, Brentwood Town and Enfield Town. Town could leap-frog both Brentwood and Leiston should we win our game in hand.
Tilbury, Waltham Forest, Romford, Thamesmead Town, Potters Bar Town and Harlow Town then follow with only five points separating The Dockers in sixth place and The Hawks in eleventh place.
Twelth placed Chatham Town have dropped down the league placings following their promising start to the campaign. Five wins in their opening nine games has moved onto just one win in six games.
AFC Sudbury, Town's opponents on Saturday, are currently moving up the table in fourteenth position with just one defeat in their last six league games. They played out a Suffolk derby game against Leiston on Tuesday night and showed the spirit they have in their camp at the moment with a 95th minute equaliser from Michael Shinn to draw the game 1-1. Leiston were reduced to 10 men in the second period at Victory Road.
A good crowd of 327 saw the Suffolk derby between Leiston and AFC Sudbury on Tuesday night |

As you can see from the above figures the top five haven't really played against each other as yet but they have played against the bottom five with only Brentwood Town on two games played against the current bottom five. The bottom five currently includes Maldon and Tiptree and FA Cup heroes Redbridge at present - the cold end beleives both of these clubs will improve on their league positions over the next few months. M&T have a much better squad than their position shows and with a manager of the quality of Terry Spillane it should only be a matter of time before The Motormen's squad of good hard working players convert some of their Cup and Trophy form into League points. None of the current bottom five have won against the top five...

Saturday 26th November sees Grays Athletic travel to Needham Market in what will be one of the games of the season so far. Hakan Hayrettin's team has a busy schedule prior to their trip to Bloomfields with home games against Soham Town Rangers, Potters Bar Town and an Essex midweek derby trip to Harlow Town. The Hawks are currently in 11th place with only two wins in six games. Their 3-2 win against Ryman Premier Lewes in the FA Trophy last Saturday shows that they are a dangerous team that shouldn't be underestimated. Maldon and Tiptree's victory over Thamesmead Town on Tuesday night now puts only three teams on two defeats. Needham Market, Grays Athletic and Enfield Town make up the trio. Unsurprisingly Ware (11) and Ilford (13) are the clubs with the most defeats.
