RYMAN NORTH PRE-SEASON FRIENDLY ROUND-UP

The pre-season is now underway for the Ryman North Division with a two sides in action today and one last mid-week. A host of other sides kick off in the forthcoming week, the fixtures are below.

Heybridge Swifts played Essex and Suffolk Border League Premier Division side Hatfield Peveral today at the Strutt Memorial Ground. The Swifts came away with a 0-3 victory through an early goal from Luke Callander and a brace from Lee Flavin.

Also this afternoon,Waltham Forest played a Billericay Town side on the artificial pitch at Wadham Lodge with the Ryman Premier side winning 1-2.

Maldon and Tiptree started their pre-season last Wednesday when they entertained a strong Colchester United side at home. The U's came away with a 0-4 win thanks to goals from John-Jo O'Toole, Ashley Vincent, Craig Arnott and Steven Gillespie. The League One side also included Kemal Izzet, Kayode Odejayi and new signings Tom Eastman and Michael Rose in their squad.
