The Royston based side have lost everyone of their five league games and only scored one solitary goal against 2nd from bottom Elizabeth Allen Old Boys 'A' who beat them by 4-1 on the 18th September. In the game after this one on the 25th September they were thrashed 15-0 by the team 3rd from bottom Buntingford Wanderers Reserves. They have also been on the end of a 9-0 defeat by table toppers Mangove Reserves. Results have improved over the last few weeks with a 0-1 defeat at the hands of Braughing Res in the Hertfordshire Junior Trophy and a 0-3 loss against Ware Lions Old Boys in the league.
This weekend Westwell will be hoping to give a good account of themselves as they make the short trip to face unbeaten Premier Division leaders Baldock Cannon in the Centenary Cup. Will it be a cricket score or will Westwell spring a surprise???

In a top of the table clash last Saturday Baldock Cannon won 1-2 away at Waltham Abbey 'A'. The Abbot's A sides only other dropped points has come in a 0-0 away draw at Harlow Link. The league seems to be the home of proper football and goals-goals-goals as the only other 0-0 draw across the divisions came in the Thundridge v Braughing Division Two game on the 11th September. Last season's Champions Bengeo Trinity are currently mid-table with last terms runners up Greenbury United in 4th place at present. In last Saturday's games a total of 71 goals were scored in 21 games averaging in at 3.38 goals per game. With most teams in Cup action this weekend the next set of full fixtures for the league comes on the 30th October as follows -PREMIER DIVISION
