NON LEAGUE DAY TOMORROW

Enfield Town travel to Cricklefields for the second Saturday in row but this time face Ilford in the Ryman Division One North. The Foxes scrapped through the the next round of the FA Cup on Wednesday night when after a 0-0 draw and extra time they beat Essex Senior League side Witham Town on penalty kicks. It'll only be their 2nd league game of the season as their scheduled home game with Redbridge on the 25th August was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch and their bank holiday game at Great Wakering Rovers also postponed due to their FA Cup involvement.

Tomorrow is Non League Day which is the fantastic idea that was brought about by lifelong QPR and Harrow Borough fan James Doe.

nonleagueday.co.uk states WITH ENGLAND PLAYING THE NIGHT BEFORE AND THE PREMIER LEAGUE AND CHAMPIONSHIP TAKING A WEEK OFF, I URGE ALL FANS OF THE BIG CLUBS TO GET OUT AND WATCH THEIR LOCAL NON-LEAGUE TEAM INSTEAD ON SATURDAY 4TH SEPTEMBER. GIVEN THE CURRENT FINANCIAL CLIMATE, CLUBS OUTSIDE THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE NEED ALL THE SUPPORT THEY CAN GET, SO YOUR PRESENCE AT A GAME WILL BE GENUINELY APPRECIATED. WITH TICKETS AND REFRESHMENTS AT A FRACTION OF THE COST, WHAT'S STOPPING YOU?"

The cold end recommends you support NON LEAGUE DAY!!!

If you can't make it to East London there are plenty of more games in the local area including the big kick off of the FA Vase.
