THE COLD END'S WEEKEND BET......

I've been so near but yet so far in my recommended bets so fat this season and currently sit at loss of £40.00. I need a change of luck so this weekend I've changed bookmakers to see if that might shift the balance in my favour.

I'll go for another treble this week as follows :

Firstly, Sutton United welcome Folkestone Invicta to Gander Green Lane in the Ryman Premier Division. The U's, who finished 2nd in the table last season, drew 0-0 away at Concord Rangers on the opening day and followed this up with a 2-0 win at home to Horsham in midweek. Reports state that Paul Doswell's side could of made the victory look much more comfortable with numerous chances created and the woodwork hit three times. Invicta, promoted via the play offs from Division One (South) last season, lost away 2-0 to Croydon Athletic in their first game and drew 1-1 on Monday night at Aveley. The game at Mill Field has been reported on Aveley's website as one which will not live long in the memory so I think even though Invicta maybe tough to break down Sutton United will win by two or more goals so the 1/2 odds for a home win looks good value.

In League One Yeovil Town have a difficult looking trip to face Oldham Athletic. Paul Dickov has made a good start to his managerial career at Boundary Park with two wins and a draw last weekend at Charlton Athletic. The 1-1 result at The Valley saw Oldham hit the post twice with a total of six shots on target against Charlton's two. The Somerset side have lost three league and cup games in a row, they were apparently unlucky in the 0-2 home defeat against Hartlepool last weekend but with The Tanners not travelling well of late, they only won four away from home last season and scored only nineteen goals, I believe that Oldham will be too strong for them tomorrow. The odds of 4/5 suggest the bookies expect a home win also.

In the Zamaretto Premier League Chesham United have taken to life in their new surroundings with ease winning three and drawing one. They are 5/6 to win their home game with Banbury United who have had a tough start to the season drawing two and losing two letting in ten goals. The Generals have scored six and their net is yet to be breached in the four league games played so far.

A £10 stake on a Oldham Athletic, Chesham United and Sutton United treble with paddypower.com pays £49.50.

Gamble responsibly!!!
