THE BLUEBIRDS AND THE CHAIRBOYS TO WIN THE COLD END SOME MONEY!!

The Blue Square Premier kicks off today and it's here where the cold end firstly delves for my recommended weekend bet. Barrow, who have had a reasonable pre-season finishing with a 2-1 win over a Bolton Wanderers XI last weekend, face a trip to Cambridgeshire to play Histon who are one of the favourites for relegation from the Division. John Beck's side have lost all but one of their pre-season games and with a very young squad inexperienced at BSP level being assembled at the Glass World Stadium they may struggle to stay up this season. Barrow at EVENS looks a good bet.

In the NPOWER League Two Wycombe Wanderers look strong with an opening day victory against Morecambe followed by a narrow extra-time defeat to Championship Millwall in their midweek Carling Cup match. They travel to Stockport who were thrashed 0-5 by Preston NE in midweek after a 1-1 draw at Southend on the opening day of the season. County allowed Southend to have 10 shots off target and 1 shot on target in this game. I think Wycombe will be more clinical in the finishing department and if they are allowed to get shots in on goal like The Shrimpers were they will be too strong for Paul Simpson's side. Wycombe Wanderers at 6/5 looks good value.

A £10 stake on a double of Wycombe Wanderers and Barrow pays £44.00 with skybet.com.
