NON LEAGUE DAY - SATURDAY 4th SEPTEMBER 2010

The cold end is supporting 'NON LEAGUE DAY' which is a fantastic idea being publicised on Facebook

There are no Premier League or Championship games being played on Saturday 4th September 2010 as England face Bulgaria in a Euro 2012 Qualifying Match at Wembley on the night of Friday 3rd.

The Facebook page states "I urge all fans of the big clubs to get out and watch their local non-league team instead on SATURDAY 4th SEPTEMBER. Given the current financial climate, clubs outside the Football League need all the support they can get so your presence at a game will be genuinely appreciated."

Enfield Town face a trip to Ilford on the day in question - Let's hope the crowd at Cricklefields is swelled by a few more supporters and the idea is a success.
