MIDWEEK RYMAN (NORTH) PREVIEW

Any person just glancing at the current league table seeing Town riding high in the play-off places in 5th postition and Romford in 15th place would think tonight's game would be an easy one for Town.

This couldn't be further from the truth at The Boro are on a roll of good form of late. Since the beginnning of February they have won 6 and lost 3 of their 9 league games beating Concord Rangers, Great Wakering Rovers, Thamesmead Town and VCD Athletic along the way. With 13 goals in their last 6 games they are bound to pose a threat to Town but they have also let in 11 goals so it looks like there will be goals at The Mill Field tonight.

Steve and Del have stated via the programme that Romford will be a tough test especially away from home and it looks like it will be a closer game than the 2-0 win at Goldsdown Road on the 6th October.

Romford won away 1-2 at Potters Bar Town on Saturday with goalkeeper Danny Mulrooney making some good saves to keep his team in the game. Kurt Smith is their top scorer with 13 goals in 20 league and cup games. Centre-Back Bradley Falco who played for Leyton against Enfield Town in January made his debut in the game at the South Mimms Travel Stadium after moving to Romford from Lea Bridge Road recently.

Town are favourites with BWIN.COM at 7/10 to win the match with the home side at 29/10 and the draw at 5/2.

There are a host of other games tonight with the Concord Rangers V Tilbury, Potters Bar Town V Lowestoft Town and Waltham Forest V Wingate and Finchley fixtures involving teams at the top of the table. The Motormen after their welcome 0-3 win at Maldon Town face two East London local derby matches against Ilford and Leyton respectively. W&F make their second trip to Cricklefields in a week and will want to come back with more than the point they gained in the 1-1 draw with Ilford last Wednesday. It's no surprise that Rangers and Lowie are strong favourites for their games at 3/10 and 7/20.
