It's top v bottom on Saturday, weather permitting, as Chippenham Town visit The Sussex Transport Community Stadium. The Wiltshire side have no wins on their league travels so far picking up just two draws at Eastbourne Borough in November (2-2) and more recently at AFC Totton (1-1).
Worthing's 3-2 victory over Dorking Wanderers on Tuesday evening was watched by a club record breaking crowd of 3,735 people. Their average attendance for home league games currently stands at 2,069 which is an amazing figure when you go back a decade to the 15/16 season when they were playing at Step Four they averaged 420 over their 23 regular league home games.
BRANTHAM ATHLETIC STILL LOOKING FOR THEIR FIRST LEAGUE WIN OF THE SEASON
The 2024/25 Thurlow Nunn Premier Division champion's Brantham Athletic have had a season to forget in The Pitching In Isthmian Division One North currently on no wins, 2 draws and 22 defeats in their 24 league games played.
The 2 draws came on the opening day of the season at Stanway Rovers (1-1) and at home to Tilbury in October (2-2).
Manager Tom Austin and his coaching staff left the club in the summer to join Southern League Premier Division AFC Sudbury which saw a new duo Kevin Coyle and Alex Rossis join the club and build a new squad just three weeks before the start of the season.
They have since left the club in October to be replaced by Craig Clarke and Michael Brothers. They have a new look side since the opening day of the season - only defender George Chenery and striker Miftau Yusuf (sub) were in the starting XI from the squad on the opening day of the season. Chenery has played for Lowestoft Town between the end of September and November.
The Blue Imps are due to travel to Concord Rangers (currently 12th) on Saturday before two home games against Takeley (20th) and Downham Town (21st) - Could they be celebrating that all important win soon?
