HERTFORDSHIRE SENIOR COUNTY LEAGUE FOR 2025/26


Here we take a look at the Hertfordshire Senior County League for the forthcoming 25/26 season and take a look at some of the teams involved. 

PREMIER DIVISION

It's been a very unfortunate drop down the divisions for St Margaretsbury who return to the Herts Senior County League Premier Division they last played in the 1991/92 season. It was only the 12/13 and 13/14 campaigns when they finished in fourth place of the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division. Alfie Norman is their new Manager having previously been succesfully involved with Cheshunt's academy teams.

AFC Turnford are a new club to the non-league ladder having moved across from Sunday League football where they finished 3rd in the East Herts Corinthian Division One last season. The club have a decent You Tube which you can find here where they will be documenting their season.

Underdogs FC are another side to make the jump from Sunday football. They were formed in 2019 and have been playing in the Barnet Sunday League for the past five years. They also have a You Tube channel here.

GT United are a youth football club based in the Waltham Cross area - they have made the move into adult's football with their under 18 side from last season making up the squad who will compete in Division Six.

  1. I like non-league football. I would like a British non-league cup between the champions of Scottish Lowland, and Scottish Highland Leagues,, a lower tier Welsh league, and maybe the winners, and runners-up of the FA Vase?
