SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION STATS AND FACTS ON THE SEASON SO FAR

Table topper's MK IRISH are still unbeaten in the league with thirteen wins from their fifteen games played. They have only dropped points in two drawn games at second placed COCKFOSTERS and at home to WINSLOW UNITED.

It's been a struggle so far for SHEFFORD TOWN & CAMPTON who currently have no league wins - they have two draws and sixteen defeats from their eighteen games played. Their draws have both been at home versus DUNSTABLE TOWN and FC ROMANIA. Away from home they have ten defeats in a row - their last win on their travels came on Thursday 4th April when they won 1-2 at STANSTED. Amir Hadi scored both goals in that game - He started this season playing for Step Four side BIGGLESWADE FC and helped them on their amazing FA Cup run scoring in the Fourth Qualifying Round game against YORK CITY. He has since moved on to Step Three side ST IVES TOWN. Shefford have lost their last nine league games in a row.

KEMPSTON ROVERS, relegated from the Southern League Central division last season, are in danger of a second successive demotion. The Walnut Boys are third from bottom and have a record of three wins, one draw and then defeats in their league games. Their victories came at COCKFOSTERS (0-2) on the opening day of the season, at fellow struggler's BALDOCK TOWN (0-1) and at home to ARLESEY TOWN (1-0). They are on a run of six league games without a win and were well beaten 7-2 in their last outing at WORMLEY ROVERS. After that defeat it was announced Manager Darren Clarke had resigned from the club - He took over in the summer moving up after a successful stint in charge of the reserve team.

They travel to TRING ATHLETIC (8th) this weekend before a big relegation six pointer at home to BALDOCK TOWN (17th) on Saturday 7th December.

Rowley Lane is somewhat of a fortress for LONDON LIONS who are currently third in the table. They have won seven and drawn two of their nine home games scoring 24 and letting in just 6 goals. This is in stark contrast to their away from which reads 2 wins and 4 defeats with just 9 goals scored and 8 conceded.

They are one of three teams left in this season's Isuzu FA Vase which Third Round games take place on Saturday 7th December. Thurlow Nunn Premier Division GREAT YARMOUTH TOWN will visit Rowley Lane, TRING ATHLETIC host Combined Counties Premier South side FLEET TOWN and HARPENDEN TOWN travel to to Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side DEREHAM TOWN.

Only three players have scored ten or more league goals so far this season. Mason Spence of MK IRISH has continued his amazing form of last season where he scored 35 goals in 47 league and cup games. He currently has 14 goals in 15 league games. Former Stevenage FC and Northern Ireland u19 International Liam Smyth has 14 goals in 14 games for BIGGLESWADE UNITED. Jordan Brown, who has most recently played for Real Bedford and Eynesbury Rovers, has netted 12 goals in 10 games for POTTON UNITED.
