At the 27th time of asking it was a defeat for Cray Valley PM last weekend in a highly dramatic game against Three Bridges. The Millers were 4-2 up on 58 minutes and 4-3 up on as the game drifted into added time. On 90+4 the visitors equalised and then on 90+7 Noel Leighton scored the winner which netted him a hat-trick. The crowd at the Artic Stadium was 165 people.
The Rams lost 0-2 at home to Mertsham on Saturday 10th February but have since got back to winning ways beating Broadbridge Heath (1-0) and Ashford United (4-0) both at The Southwood Stadium. The crowds for these games were 1,031, 1,337 and 1,068. Joe Taylor has now scored an incredible 38 goals in 38 league and cup games during the 23/24 campaign so far.
Sittingbourne are in third place and in great form - they have an outside chance of finishing top of the table but for that to happen both The Rams and The Millers would have to drop points several times and they would have to win at least nine of the last eleven games which more than likely won't happen.
The Rams still have to host both Cray Valley PM and Sittingbourne which should attract big attendance to the Kent Coast.
