ISTHMIAN PREMIER DIVISION CLUBS ENTER THE EMIRATES FA CUP - WILL THERE BE ANY SHOCK RESULTS?

STEP THREE v STEP THREE
DULWICH HAMLET v HARINGEY BOROUGH
ENFIELD TOWN v POTTERS BAR TOWN
HENDON v MARGATE
ROYSTON TOWN v CHESHUNT

The Road To Wembley starts for the Isthmian Premier Division clubs on Saturday with two all division ties and four Step Three v Step Three ties in total. It's an interesting game as The Ambers travel up the A10 to play Royston Town which should see a decent crowd at Garden Walk. The Crows lost their first two games of the season but have since drawn 1-1 at Stamford followed by wins against Long Eaton United, Coalville Town and Hitchin Town. Craig Edwards side have just one win in their five league games and lost at home to Wingate & Finchley on Bank Holiday Monday. Their victory came against Margate and they did run two sides who have made good starts to the season in Chatham Town (lost 1-2) and Billericay Town (0-1) close.

Hendon are draw specialists with four of their six Southern League Premier South games ending all square so they could be heading down to Hartsdown Park for a replay? Their opponents don't have any draws yet having won two and lost three of their games played.

STEP THREE v STEP FOUR
BILLERICAY TOWN v STOWMARKET TOWN
BURGESS HILL TOWN v BOGNOR REGIS TOWN
CANVEY ISLAND v LOWESTOFT TOWN
CONCORD RANGERS v WROXHAM
CHATHAM TOWN v RAMSGATE
HARTLEY WINTNEY v FOLKESTONE INVICTA
HASHTAG UNITED v BRENTWOOD TOWN
LANCING v CARSHALTON ATHLETIC
LEATHERHEAD v HORSHAM
WHITEHAWK v SEVENOAKS TOWN
ERITH AND BELVEDERE v HASTINGS UNITED (Sunday)

It's been a very difficult start to the season for Concord Rangers with five defeats in a row with just three goals scored and fifteen let in. They welcome North Division Wroxham who have been in good form. They have beaten Yaxley (7-0) and Bury Town (2-1) to get to this stage as well as drawing 0-0 with Bury Town in the league together with a 4-0 win over Ipswich Wanderers. Their only defeat came at East Thurrock United on the opening day of the league season. Josh Harvey, who joined from Lowestoft Town in the summer, has scored 4 goals for The Yachtsmen so far.

They'll be another huge crowd at   for the Chatham Town v Ramsgate game - The Chats pipped The Rams to the South-East Division title last season with 2,540 in attendance for their league game played on Monday 10th April. Chatham Town are the only Premier Division side left with a 100% winning record after five games played including a highly impressive 2-5 win over Dulwich Hamlet on Bank Holiday Monday which saw Jamie Yila score his 4th and 5th goal of the season.

Since losing at Sevenoaks Town on the opening day The Rams have won three games in a row scoring ten goals and letting in just two - Former Lewes striker Joe Taylor has scored five of those goals.

STEP THREE v STEP FIVE
CRAY WANDERERS v NEWHAVEN
FAVERSHAM TOWN v LEWES
HORNCHURCH v FAKENHAM TOWN
WHITSTABLE TOWN v WINGATE & FINCHLEY
KINGSTONIAN v LYDD TOWN (Sunday)

Lewes are unbeaten in the league but won't relish their tie against Faversham Town who have a very impressive squad under the management of former Concord Rangers and Potters Bar Town manager Sammy Moore. They have beaten Eastbourne Town and Merstham to get to this stage and did lost to Lydd Town and Corinthian in the league but got back to winning ways with a FA Vase win over Horsham YMCA and on Monday beating Whitstable Town 2-1 in the league in front of a Bumper Bank Holiday crowd of 655. Sam Hasler, who was with Isthmian Premier side Hastings United, netted both of their goals. The K's have one win for their five league games but have scored in their last four games.

Newhaven have only lost once (in the Sussex Charity Cup to Seaford Town) in their eight games played so far - They are free scoring too with Callum Connor (6 goals), Ian Robinson (5) and Alfie Rogers (5) all helping to their impressive goals total of 22. Cray Wanderers have an impressive squad but have lost all five of their league games so fae going down 3-0 at Hastings United on Bank Holiday Monday with winger Yahaya Bamba being sent off.

Lydd Town were promoted to the Southern Counties Premier Division via the Division One play-offs last season and have made a decent start to the 23/24 campaign with their 4-1 over Faversham Town the stand out result. They have beaten Camberley Town and Deal Town to get to this stage on their debut season in the FA Cup.

The law of averages says with sixteen clubs in action against teams from a lower level there will be a shock result - The only unanswered question is where will it come?
